I recall earlier someone putting "credits" in the applications that they
maintained that were incendiary and politically motivated. Those credits
were removed and the person who put them there decided, as a result, to
remove their apps from kde CVS.

I believe that one justification for this was that when one decides to put
their apps under the auspicies of KDE, or donate resources, that they don't
have complete control of how those resources are used, and if they don't like
it, they can leave, which was the option this person eventually took.

I really don't see how one can be permitted to put an advertisement on a page
that purports to speak for KDE without setting a precendent, and not only
that, but permitting a double standard.

I am not KDE and I don't speak for KDE, but I am not a fan of double
standards.

Sorry if I'm a little incoherent, I got hit by a car on sunday and am in a bit
of pain...
