I spend more time paying attention to the kde-optimize list because it's
where KDE is perceived to need the most work.  kde-devel often talks 
about
functionality and things I don't care so much about [I was happy with 
KDE functionality
in KDE 2.x for the most part :)]

I think if more people used kde-optimize more people would read it.
