Background effect when logging out

The following patch replaces the old-fashioned, Dense4Pattern-based effect by 
a KPixmapEffect::toGray effect. I have noticed that Dense4Pattern makes my 
LCD display blink.
The performance cost is about 0.15s on a PIII 800Mhz, that's why I prefer to 
ask first. And perhaps someone will find a better effect :-)
