Proposal for KDE 4.0

I remember using the first alpha from kde2 series and removing kde1. Never 
kept two version in pararel and i dont get what is the reason to do so with 
final versions. Why would you keep both 1.1.2 and 3.0 ?

As for /usr/kde4 its like /usr/kdebdb that kdevelop folks introduced, is being 
against standards a new fashion in KDE?
