Well, if there's a convenient way to do this, KPilot would like to know, which
has been struggling since forever to get a KConfig file shared between three
processes, all of whom can write to it, consistent. We ended up with a simple
locking mechanism where the apps claim the config file over DCOP, but it's
ugly and won't scale.
