yes, although im rebuilding with my original patch, since im 99.9% sure that 
your version of it causes false "resets" of the config data.

In my current senario, the files update when told they should from the control 
pannel and all apps update accordingly.  Even Qt only applications have the 
correct settings.  Its almost like some applications randomly ignore the 
current settings and use default ones.

Im wondering if this is a side effect of kiosk?   Now what is interesting is 
when things "reset" and i open the options from the control panel, the config 
options in the file are ignored, and the defaults are used.  

Its pretty easy to duplicate, so please try it.  Just change your font/style/ 
or color scheme and watch things reset after drkonqi starts up or you install 
a kde app.
