Overall, I think that there was (only) rough concensus for an embedded store,
although people varied on whether SQL was an appropriate choice.
Can I suggest that you import the code into kdenonbeta, set and document the
public interface (if anything is different to the normal Qt database
interface), and maybe write a tutorial on how it is supposed to be used in a
KDE app.
Then the developers can evaluate its usability, and if someone wants to put up
a competing proposal (say based on XML files or tdb or xargs | grep or
whatever), we're discussing concrete options instead of arguing in the
abstract.
