Sorry to reply so late, but I was away on a conference the whole week, and the
news gateway didn't work until now...
In korganizer we have two large and inportant pending issues in addition to
the kontact integration:
- -) making the alarm daemon work. korganizer was changed to use
CalendarResources, but the alarm daemon was never touched. Cornelius said he
will tackle this.
- -) Fix session management in korganizer. Currently, when you log in,
korganizer is restarted (thanks to seli, it now reads the correct config
file). However, due to its internal structure it is unable to restore the
system calendar and just displays an empty calendar. Some users might panick
that they lost all their events. I agreed to fix this, but it needs to change
the very heart of korganizer (namely how the calendar is managed internally),
so this needs some serious testing. Also, I don't think I can finish this
until the end of september, because on wednesday I have to go to another
conference and have to give two talks there...
I think both issues need a lot of testing, since they are really important for
korganizer. And I don't think we can finish them before Sept 29.
