--enable-final broken

well, given that the ie importer is my code
its obviously not crap :)

i'm simply refering to the fact that i 
don't use enable-final (as its a just
plain stupid idea for people building
from cvs imo) and it should be up to 
the person who does so to fix it. 

otoh, i'll check that enable-final
is working before release - as 
distributors will want to use it...
