Fwd: KControl Focus Issues

Does anyone have an idea? I suspect it's the fault of qxembed, but I don't 
know enough about that class.

Hi,

I'm a developer for Xandros, and we have some custom modules we put into
kcontrol (from KDE 3.1.4).  You currently are listed as the contact in
the HOWTO, so hopefully you can help me.

Some of them spawn dialog boxes, which works fine until it's run in
Administrator mode.  The dialog boxes show up, but they do not take
focus, despite being told to take global focus.

I assume this has to do with the root embedding, which uses kcmshell
--embed.

Do you have any ideas how one may work around this issue?
