Hi,
When loading a plugin Quanta uses the KDE KPart mechanism to do so. If that
call is working on Cygwin for the rest of KDE than it should work also in
case of Quanta. The call in question is
"KParts::ComponentFactory::createPartInstanceFromLibrary". Unfortunately I
don't know exactly what's behind this method call, but I believe it's some
dlopen stuff.
I'm CC'ing this to the core-devel list, maybe they can help us to find the
solution why createPartInstanceFromLibrary fails on Cygwin. Just to note
again, the bug number is 65959.
