Does it help to debug it if I say that these are all input channels 
shorter than output ones?

Bug is still there after 24. nov when Christian commited patch AFAIK, 
although it's harder to reproduce.

I tested with current CVS and it's still there. Even easier way to 
reproduce it - unhiding channel causes applet to show n-1 channels. 
It doesn't happen when hiding channel.
