Things are still in pretty bad shape here relative to 3 months ago.  For a few
weeks I've been using a "cvs up -D '3 months ago'" just because it really
didn't work at all here.

With these changes it sort of works, but now things are still pretty bad.  The
channels now show up different heights (this is new) and as was true before
selecting a channel to be visible causes some wierd layouting bug that only
shows n - 1 channels.  (See screenshot.)
