I think this is the point what the others don't seem to understand: you
already have locally some applications ported to KAutoConfig, don't you? But
it's not good to put them in HEAD now! Wait until the release, and after that
either:
- - make the changes yourself so they use KConfigXT (this change should be
trivial according to you)
- - post the patches / send to someone who would like to make the change from
KAutoConfig->KConfigXT.
This way you won't lose your work, those applications will be converted much
easier to KConfigXT and HEAD won't be full of KAutoConfig copies. So simply
wait a little more and post the patches later. This should be a good solution
for everyone.
