More problems with previews

There seem to be more problems with previews.  This time it's event more 
generic too.  If I keep a konqi window open in the directory where a 
KPresenter presentation is that I'm working on, roughly half the time I try 
to save it, it fails.  It seems like the time starts to generate a preview at 
the wrong time and it prevents the save from happening (it fails for various 
reasons).  Has anyone else seen this?  Any comments?
