Does it make sense to have this in NetAccess?
Especially the questions could be: 
1) how do we want to present this functionality to the user? Security implications?
2) will other protocols than fish:// ever be able to support this?

here is a patch to implement an exec function for the patch i commited to fish 
to be able to execute remote commands.

it's not quite what i want yet but i want to commit this already can I?
