I'v been using this patch for about 2 weeks now and have not found any problem 
with it. I also use it to build kdelibs kdebase etc and it seems to have no 
bad efects. I rebuild most of the cvs dayly so it has some milage on it by 
now.

any comments remarks modifications are welcome
