madvise used in OpenOffice for speed up

Hi all,
	I've seen recently that OpenOffice 1.1 pre release versions have started to 
use a linux feature called madvise with the parameter MADV_WILLNEED. It has 
been reported that this has reduced load times for OpenOffice by a 
significant percentage of time.
Maybe it would be quite a good idea for KDE to use this linux feature also ?
