Looks like an ideal alternative to passive popups within knotify. I 
would really like to see this in 3.2, as I prefer the look of OSDs to 
the passive popups.

Hell, I'd like to see it backported to 3.1 even though it is a new 
feature, although I guess I'll never get the release dude to agree to 
that ;)
