The reason for ß -> ss is the case mapping. There is no upper-case 
version of ß. You'd write "FUSS", Austrians sometimes "FUSZ".

The umlauts, OTOH, do have upper- as well as lowercase versions.


[Norton SystemWorks 2002] Wipe Info uses hexadecimal values to wipe
files. This provides more security than wiping with decimal values.
