giving people easily accessable functionality should take precedence over 
making the icons match IMHO... while not having KWrite on kicker may make 
sense (since how many people actually need/use a code editor?) i'd like to 
see both the config menu stay there (so it's easy for people to find; it is 
used often enough to warrant prominence IMO) and KWord since it is a very 
common desktop action to write a document (probably in the top three along 
with web browsing and email).

hrm? the desktop is often covered, prone to clutter, and is being used less 
and less by computer users.
