Hi,

does anybody know of a change in Qt or KDE which could cause this bug
(see below)? It seems to be a timing problem. As so far only Gentoo
users reported this problem could it be Gentoo specific?

When using kmail to browse mail (any folder) and I click on the "X"
button to delete mail, frequently the mouse stoke is ignored and I
have to click again to get the delete action. Also similar behavior
when clicking on a url in the mail text. I am using a PS2 mouse (not
USB) and xfree-4.2.1-r2 on gentoo linux with kernel from
linux-2.4.19-gentoo-r9 and glibc-2.3.1-rc2.

At least a half dozen other getoo kde 3.1 users have reported
this behavior. Similar software setup, but varying kernel versions.

Using gentoo too (thats how i found the bug), but it isn't
just only KMail for me. I get missing Clicks in all of KDE, drag'n
drop and marking sections of text is hard as sometimes -although I
didn't click- it seems to receive clicks. Or one click on an icon on
the panel opens the app twice. (single click=like double click)

KDE 3.1 gcc 3.2.1 glibc 2.3.1 xfree 4.2.1 kernel 2.4.20 vanilla
optical mouse PS/2

Regards,
Ingo
