He has not posted, but just to let you know: Martijn told me on Friday he also
favors supporting in in the window manager. That is actually also my
preference, you mistook me raising the issue for me wanting to implement it
in as library. I did not suggest a specific implementation to keep the
discussion broad, which seems to have succeeded.
So the next step is to decide on a path to take, or rather to work on one.
Perhaps getting in touch with the netwm body makes most sense if we want to
pursue "c)".
