But you want to stay compatible with the existing MimeType= entry. So either 
you should 
a) Have both MimeType= and MimeTypeList=. That is ugly because you duplicate 
info.
b) Have MimeType= list the mimetypes and MimeTypeList= the preferences in the 
same order. Error prone I'm afraid.
c) Overload the MimeType= entry: 
MimeTypeList=application/x-vnd.kde.karbon;10;application/postscript;2;
Numbers aren't valid mimetypes so they shouldn't create too much confusion.
d) Come up with something better :-)
