PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE implement this.  Just speaking as a user here, I 
applied this patch to my local kde 3.1 beta and I LOVE the fact that gaim can 
put it's docked icon down there and then I'm able to do things like set my 
away status, etc.  This is REALLY REALLY nice!  IMHO, it doesn't hurt 
anything and adds interoperabilty between KDE and non KDE apps which IMNSHO 
is a GOOD thing.
