the only difference i see is that now when you define KDEDIRS or KDEHOME you
include all configuration, app data, icons, wallpapers, etc, etc, etc... is
there a way to specify a KDEDIRS/HOME entry that only uses share/config ?

i haven't tried, but could this be done by making a dir that has share/config
in it and make both that dir and dir/share read-only (preventing new entries)
while having another KDEHOME entry where it is all read-write, allowing data,
etc to be placed there?

i can only imagine how fun filtering through the "non-interesting" ones must
be. some of the more "out there" and funny ones might make for a good chuckle
on a rainy day, though =)
