This change would cause short term, medium term, and long term confusion 
and annoyance.  If you want consistency, go tell those hard disk 
manufacturers to go back to using the true binary convention.

Oh, and since when is "ifconfig" general usage?  Should the whole KDE style 
guide be rewritten to follow the practices of some console system 
administration tools?
