bugzilla: how to use verified, resolved

Hi,

is there any agreement on how to use / if to use the "verified" and 
"resolved" states of Bugzilla? The original bugzilla suggests this:
http://bugs.kde.org/bug_status.html#priority

I guess simply turning this off (so there's just "closed") isn't easily 
possibly so we should agree on how to use them.
