well, i can understand accidently scrolling over comboboxes in webpages. i've 
done that. i'm just a bit surprised that people are accidently scrolling over 
comboboxes elsewhere in the UI. it's a bit like accidently clicking on 
things. it can and does happen, but we don't disable clicking on everything0 
=)

as for the patch i posted earlier, the latency could be lowered much lower 
than .5 seconds (it was just a number a picked out of the air, really) ... 
however, i know this is a doomed idea. too many people want to see scrolling 
disabled everywhere, it seems.

which is unfortunate. it's one feature that i use *a lot* in my day job and 
miss sorely when in another environment. but it's ok. i'll just patch my 
local copy of kcomobox. viva la open source.
