Well, we're distributing it already via cvs.kde.org and anoncvs.kde.org. Why 
should putting it on a FTP site be any different?

This is true, the initial checkout is the biggest problem though. I have to 
pay 3p/min through the phone line in my room, so it's going to cost at least 
£1 (=$1.5) just to checkout qt-copy. The other alternative is a GSM data call 
on my mobile which is included in my free daily minutes, but using CVS at 
9.6K/sec is hardly fun....

Snapshots on the ftp site would make it _far_ easier (well, cheaper) for me to 
be able to test it, possibly for others as well ;)
