kdesktop and excessive key capturing

  That's KDesktop's XAutoLock, it gets every user keypress on every window 
(except for the grabbed global shortcuts). But I don't think that code was 
changed recently. Perhaps you didn't have screensaver enabled when testing 
with KDE3.0?
