Altghough I like some of the new icons, I do not understand, why they can't be 
in a separate icon-theme and when it's ready, it can be made the default 
theme. Now it looks rather ugly with most of the other icons following the 
icon standard, with a black border around them and more contrast, while the 
new ones fade out on their bordes and which are generally lighter.

Yes, and the small trash icon is unrecognizable, the big one isn't much 
better. And, more generally, why do we need a house as a home icon? A folder 
with a user-head would perhaps be better. But this is certainly more a topic 
for the artists list - where I'm not subscribed.
