X hangs reproducably with recent KDE CVS versions

Yes but only on my Nvidia card.  If i kill the offending app and to a 
shift-tab all is well, but i get the same problem with noatun and most kicker 
pop up menus.  I think this is a bad interaction on Qt and X's part, but 
beyond that I have no clue.
