oh, i'm not saying that they aren't used. it's just a matter of prioritization
and organization.

good point.... now F10 is attached to new directory, bumping up two of the
others to F11 and F12...

now Ctrl-B, F5, F9 and F10 all do the same thing in both konqi and kfd ... =)

yep. it would be nice if people were good at handling large numbers of
icons/options, could identify actions by their icons alone, had large
monitors ..... *sigh* i really need to find a perfect world to live in ;-)

speaking of which, i discovered kfiledialogconf.cpp today by commenting into
the "configure this dialog" button ... i wasn't aware of the statusbar in the
file dialog, or of the about bit either. so, here's a question:

should we keep kfiledialogconf or turf it? it isn't part of the public API
(the header isn't installed) and is only used in KFileDialog (though it is
currently commented out) ... i'd vote for getting rid of it ...

in which case, should we keep support for hte status bar in the file dialog or
get rid of that as well? if we keep it, i'll add a setting in the configure
menu for it ...

i'm also debating whether it is worthwhile to have a KHelpMenu in the
configure menu for KFileDialog ... it's complex/comprehensive enough that it
deserves one =)
