31rc5 on IRIX

I built the (hopefully) last release candidate on IRIX today. BTW: It was a 
good decision to postpone the release of kde 3.1 till all the security fixes 
are incorporated... I do have two problems with 3.1 at moment:

a) konqui still crashes when removing a tab with a right mouse click->close 
tab. I attached a backtrace. I thought this has been fixed since my bug 
report has been closed.

b) Sound is not working any more. I did not have any problems with 3.0.x up to 
3.0.5. Now i cannot choose any output method except 'Auto detect' once i 
start kcontrol. Is the way this combo box is filled with the IO options 
changed since 3.0.x? Where do i have to look what's happening? I would be 
very glad for any hints.
