Maybe IM and irc just don't go well together. IRC-clients usually have just a 
lineedit, while IMs usually have a multilineedit. So no wonder, irc-clients 
don't create a newline when pressing Return.

I figured it out pretty quickly. No program could be that crappy, forcing you 
to grab the mouse and hit that darn Send-button to finish every message :-]
