1-touch splitter wanted

Hello,

I was just wondering why Gtk and Swing have one-touch-expandable splitters but 
Qt/KDE does not. IMO this is a rather useful widget as it easily lets you 
show/hide GUI parts you don't need very often. In Mozilla the navigation 
widget on the left side can be hidden using a one-touch-expandable splitter. 
This would be very useful to
a) hide the MIME-Tree in KMail while you don't need it
b) hide the folder tree in KMail while you are just reading e-mails in one 
folder
c) same as b) just for KNode
d) hide the navigation tree in konqueror. having to use the menu to make it 
reappear is just not very good (and yes, i know i can use F9 :-) )
