Aaaaah...

I don't want to take maintainership of it, not understanding the backend code. 
But maybe you can comment on whether my change from just closing all windows 
to explicitly calling qApp->quit() only fixes the Kopete problem without side 
effects or causes all kinds of havoc in existing code?

I tested with ksirc, which was the only app I had at hand that I was aware has 
a system tray icon and a real GUI (klipper and kxkb don't count). It didn't 
break there, but I'd rather have some advice from someone more 
knowledgeable...
