Okay, a bit late, but I'd like to object :-)

kdelibs is bloated enough, no need for libart in kdecore. I count only few 
real ksvg* files, and I would be fine with that, but please don't put a 
libart fork into kdecore.

Related to all that is the question what we want to do with all the other 
libart forks in KDE CVS... :-}
