Introduction to Code for GovTech: Advancing Digital Public Goods and Infrastructure

associate at the Code for GovTech (C4GT) initiative. I am reaching out to
explore potential collaboration opportunities with *KDE Community.*


Code for GovTech (C4GT) <https://codeforgovtech.in/> is implemented by Samagra,
a mission-driven governance consulting firm based in New Delhi, India, in
partnership with the global Digital Public Goods Alliance, GitHub, Omidyar
Network India and Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.

C4GT is an enabler of the development and adoption of open-source products
(DPGs and beyond), driving population-scale social impact and creating
pathways for young talent to contribute to these products through an active
community.

Each year, we conduct the Dedicated Mentoring Program

contributors collaborate on open-source tech for good projects and get 1:1
mentorship from the organizations. In DMP 2024, 42 organizations, including
UNICEF <https://www.unicef.org/india/>, Mifos <https://mifos.org/>, Mojaloop
<https://mojaloop.io/>, Beckn(FIDE) <https://fide.org/>, MeitY
<https://www.meity.gov.in/>, and National Health Authority (NHA)
<https://nha.gov.in/> participated with 103 impactful projects across 70
products.
