Telegram <-> Matrix bridges will be removed in September

Exactly. And we know there *are* people who do not use Telegram but do 
use Matrix. And even if they were fewer, it would be wrong to keep them 
off a KDE community because they make a choice that aligns better with 
KDE's principles, like punishing them for doing the right thing in a 
way.
