I don't use a Mac or Homebrew at all, but I'd say you need to start by  
finding out why the patch doesn't apply cleanly.  You can start by  
looking in those reject files, although that might not really tell you  
much.   If there is a forum or mailing list or bugtracker for where you  
get the homebrew recipe (is that even the right term?) I'd start by  
looking there.  It's possible the patches simply have not been updated  
for the latest version of the plasma framework (kf5-plasma-frame).

Too bad it doesn't say where you CAN report it, but it means it's not a  
bug in the homebrew software itself, but likely in the specific brew  
for kf5-plasma-frame.
