Hello,
Organisers of the Seattle GNU/Linux Conference (SeaGL) invite KDE community members to speak at their annual conference. SeaGL is a grassroots tech conference dedicated to spreading knowledge about the GNU/Linux Community and free/libre/open source software and hardware.
https://seagl.org/
This is a good opportunity to reach people from outside the usual KDE audience, making it a great chance to grow your application's userbase, increase the number of contributors to your project, or raise awareness within more companies of the technologies you develop. Seattle is, after all, one of the US's main tech hubs.
Organisers welcome speakers from all backgrounds and encourage first-time and inexperienced speakers. As this year's SeaGL is online, you can submit your proposal directly on their site and you won't have to worry about making any travelling arrangements. Check out further details on their website.
They also offer support to prospective speakers on freenode (#SeaGL channel) at noon (Seattle time, so UTC-7) on Wednesdays until the CFP is closed. If you want assistance outside these hours, email the organisers at cfp-help at seagl.org.
Key dates:
CFP Closes: August 19, 2020 - Midnight PDT
Speaker Notifications: September 11, 2020
Schedule Published: September 25, 2020
SeaGL: November 13th and 14th, 2020
Thank you
Regards,
Aniqa Khokhar
