Hello everyone,

It’s a pleasure for me to join KDE. I hope this journey will be fruitful for KDE and community.

A brief introduction about me. I have 7+ years of work experience as a marketing professional. During my different roles, I have managed different marketing campaigns including social media, event management, customer management, business planning, corporate communications, and market research. Hi everyone,

Over the last couple of months we've been looking for a person to help
KDE with marketing support. We were happy to receive several
high-quality applications, and I am excited today to share that we now
have a great match for this position.

So let me introduce you to Aniqa Khokhar, who will be working with us
from now on. She will follow-up to this email to share more about
herself.

Aniqa's focus will be on supporting our vibrant Promo team, and
particularly helping community members interested in contributing to all
sorts of promotional activities. Based on her strong marketing
experience, she will definitely have a lot to contribute to
strengthening KDE's marketing efforts both for our community but also
for our individual products.
She will also be supporting our web team with keeping KDE's websites up
to date, while providing support for our social media and communication
platforms. As we are intensifying our promotion for the online Akademy,
she will be involved in the outreach activities for it and all the other
events and sprints we hold through the year.

Aniqa is new to the FOSS world, but has extensive experience working
with volunteers and NGOs. Let's all support her in learning more about
who we are, what we do, and our vision for the future, so we can all
benefit from a fruitful collaboration.

We believe she will be a great addition to our community and will help
KDE grow even further.
