Yeah, KDE + generic name is something else though.
KDE prefix is not about a brand of the desktop. How can we convince
people to the proper meaning of KDE if not by using the prefix
consistently?

MS Office is MS Office also on Mac, precisely: MS Office for Mac. If
someone adds a nice integration[*] for Ubuntu or Gnome in a KDE Foo
app, the app perhaps can be even called KDE Foo for Gnome, etc.

I remember in KOffice time how frequently reviewers (quite naturally)
called it KDE Office.

[*] At least I won't oppose Kexi integration on 3rd party desktops if
this expands the current FOSS community.
