[kde-community] Unsolicited email delivered to the mailing list

Hi all,
Just to let you know, the delivery of unsolicited email to these
mailing lists recently is in the process of being dealt with. This was
not the result of a fault in Mailman - the identity of a mailing list
member has been impersonated to abuse our lists.
The ultimate originating sender (Nextdoor.com) has been indefinitely
blacklisted from all KDE Sysadmin handled domains as a result (for
both personal and mailing list traffic).
In addition, a complaint has been filed with the whitelisting provider
(ReturnPath) for their email service provider (Mailgun.com) requesting
that the offending behaviour be dealt with appropriately. If
Mailgun.com refuses to implement impersonation prevention, they will
also be subject to being indefinitely blacklisted.
Apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused.
Thanks,
Ben Cooksley
