Building multiple source modules

Unless you plan to extend cmake to the level of maven that stuff is way out of 
cmakes scope. 

And i never heard about any plans to add that?

   - control environment
   - checkout sources
   - control order of build for different cmake build projects
   - ....

So i can't quite accept that answer.
