kdeedu-4.4.5 cmake hangs.

I am attempting to compile kdeedu-4.4.5.  I have R-2.11.1 installed.  Running 
cmake   progresses to :-
 
-----Found Readline  /usr/lib/libncurses.so
found openGL

and in then just  hangs.


advice would be appreciated.
