FindPlasma.cmake obsolete ?

I guess Alex ment distributing with application source code "private" 
FindXXX.cmake module (where XXX used to be or is part of kdelibs) with 
application making use of it (instead relying on bundled FindKDE4).
Private means residing in apptoplevelsrcdir/cmake/modules but not being 
installed.

Regarding buildsystem modularization in a future - I'm looking forward to it, 
I could possibly help with some tedious, repetitive work in that manner as 
well if given some examples ;)

Besides we still have some minor patches/sed's waiting for someone to collect 
them and propose them here.
