Looks ok in cmake v2.4.2:

% cmake -D
Parse error in command line argument: -D
Should be: VAR:type=value
CMake Error: No cmake scrpt provided.
CMake Error: Problem processing arguments. Aborting.

% cmake --version
cmake version 2.4-patch 2
